WA Barefoot Water Ski Club
The WA Barefoot Water Ski Club is both a club and division under the Western Australian Water Ski Association (WAWSA) banner. Formed early in the 1970’s the WA Barefoot Club is comprised of a number of members both young and old, passionate about the sport of Barefoot Water Skiing.
The WA Barefoot Club is the only water ski club in Perth with gazetted, exclusive use of a stretch of Swan River located adjacent to the Lilac Hill Cricket Oval. You will find the club operating over the summer season most Saturday mornings along this stretch.
The members of the WA Barefoot Club are passionate about gaining the involvement of both experienced and new skiers alike. The club holds regular Come & Try days for anybody interested in learning to Barefoot – No Experience Required! The club has a vast array of training equipment as well as nationally accredited coaches and drivers to get you skiing.
The WA Barefoot Club are also proud owners of a 2004 Custom Ski Boats Protégé powered by a 2013 Mercury Opti-max 225hp Pro XS. Custom Ski Boats are world renowned barefoot boats and are currently used to tow both the Australian National Titles and Wold Barefoot Title events.
